History of Jawapro
Jawapro was born at a very early age. Actually - a VERY early age. So early that he was premature, and had to spend the first while in a glass crib thing so he didnt die. Not sure what was special about the glass crib, but something was.
Anyway - he didnt die, and instead he grew up. Originally he was known as Robert or Robbie, it wasnt until much later that he was known as Jawapro. Along the way he got a sister, and discovered that sisters demand a lot of work.
When he was old enough to go to school, the family was living on a farm, and they decided to homeschool. It seemed to work well, so when they left the farm they kept up with the homeschooling.
As Robert got older he discovered the joys of computers. Many days were spent playing games like Stunts, Commander Keen, and the like.
But it was when he first found a copy of Dune II that Robert got completely hooked.
Eventually Robert joined Seabrook Christian School. He was still home-schooled part of the time, and the rest of the time he went to school with a number of other mostly home-schoolers. By this stage Robert's obsession with computers was in full swing.
And when it came time to finish school, Robert had no idea what he wanted to do, so he headed off to TAFE to study computing.
After a few glorious years studying at TAFE, Robert once again had to decide what to do next. And as a way of putting off getting a job, Robert enrolled at the University of Tasmania to study - you guess it - computing.
By this stage Robert had grown tradmark sideburns that were distincly uncool, and spent the majority of his time in front on a computer screen.
After graduating, Robert really hated the idea of going back to uni for another year to do Honours - so he started applying for jobs. And much to his suprise - he got one. In fact - he only had one week off after uni before he started work for the TT-Line (that runs the Spirit of Tasmania Ferries).
To Be Continued (cause he aint dead yet)....
Stay Tuned.
